Mary is a Physical Therapy graduate student at the University of Minnesota. Mary describes a physical therapist as a movement specialist, treating injured athletes, the geriatric population, and stroke patients to give them the best quality of life possible. Mary advises interested undergrads to shadow physical therapists in all different settings, from home health to inpatient clinics.
