Meet the Pre-Professional Advising Team

With a Master of Science in Clinical-Counseling Psychology and over 20 years professional experience in higher education I now oversee the Pre-Professional Advising team, Eagle Mentoring Programs, and serve as the primary point of contact for all alumni of Georgia Southern University or Armstrong State University. After falling in love with the field shortly after starting my undergraduate courses I have spent my entire career in Career Development within Higher Education. It wasn’t my original plan but once I came across the field all the puzzle pieces fell in place for me! My counseling style is empathetic yet realistic. My role is to provide you with information you need so you can make your own decisions. I have experience with multiple student populations including dual enrolled, first generation, military, non-traditional, LGBTQ+, and students with disabilities. I look forward to assisting you with all your career related needs whether you are a recent graduate, an experienced alum who is seeking to make a career transition, or an alum who is recently unemployed and seeking to re-enter the workforce.
